Crocheted Doll Cradle Purses

Back in July, for Hannah's birthday, I gave her and Esther each a little doll. I told them that as they both a small gift for Hannah's birthday, they would each get a small gift for Esther's birthday.
For Esther's birthday, I gave them each little cradle purses for their dolls.

I made a pink purse with white trim for Esther.

Here it is folded up into a purse

Hannah's doll has blue clothes, so I made a blue cradle for her

Notice the flowers with partially colored centers? Those were fun to make.

Here they are together.

To make these, I did an online search  and watched a series of  videos on how to make these convertible doll cradles that turn into little girls' purses. So fun.

I'm think about making more of these in the  future and selling them....after Christmas. Right now I have a couple gifts that I need to work on. I'm hoping to be able to post about them after they're done and have been given. So far, all I have done is pick the fabric and sketch an outline of what I'm wanting to do.

  1. I used to make dolly purses like that; so much fun! Delighted to know that Hannah and Esther have matching bassinets and purses. :)
